Chelmsford Riverside Leisure Centre Relaunch

Riverside Leisure Centre has been an iconic leisure facility in Chelmsford, Essex for many years. Summer 2019 saw the opening of the brand new multi-million-pound facility including a 25m x 10 lane pool, learner pool, splash pool and flume, larger gym and exercise studio spaces, café, soft play and crèche, alongside the refurbished sports hall and ice rink.  

We were commissioned by Chelmsford City Council to undertake a videography and photography project, producing a promotional film with images, an access information video with images and nine mini videos for each area of the leisure facility to be used on social media platforms.  

The promotional film and social media videos were launched throughout all of their social media platforms, including Instagram and YouTube, as well as being shown on the internal screens around the centre. The images have been used for online marketing, website imagery, social media, internal screen adverts and for print based campaigns and advertising.

The access informational video was produced to ensure that users with access needs were able to find out all the required information before visiting. This was produced in line with their print and digital access guide which also contained our images. We incorporated aerial footage as part of the establishing shots and internally with the larger swimming and ice-skating area. This allowed us to give a unique perspective of the new building, create interest and increase the production value of the film.
