Spring/Summer 2018 Fashion Photography

Lakeside are one of our longest standing clients. We have worked with them on many fashion campaigns from catwalks, workshops and makeovers. The Spring/Summer fashion 2018 project was the second large location shoot that Lakeside commissioned us to produce to use for their social media platforms, internal advertising on the large screens throughout the centre, PR communications and print including a fashion look book.

We worked with them in the planning and concept stage by sourcing a location, hair and makeup artists as well as booking facilities at Away Resorts for the models to change and rest. We found a secluded beach in East Mersea, Essex which allowed for a beautiful backdrop for multiple looks. Styling was managed by Carlene Noel, the personal stylist at the Personal Style Lounge at Lakeside.

We were also asked to produce a social media video, behind the scenes video and fashion photography showing three models in multiple spring summer trends as a creative solution to launch the Spring/Summer fashion campaign. We were tasked with driving footfall by motivating shoppers to hit the stores and swap out their winter-tired wardrobe for brand new items from Lakeside’s many retailers. 

Our process was simple, and we worked hard to inspire customers using visual assets - both photo and video. Lakeside’s SS18 campaign was one of their most successful yet with footfall increasing and an increase in sales from stores who participated in the campaign such as Topshop, House of Fraser and Next.  We sourced all social media influencer models for the shoot, partnering with Laura Bradshaw, Katie Snooks and Alex Light to bring Spring/Summer Fashion to life. Combined, they currently have a total of over 541,000 fashion hungry followers in the UK on Instagram alone.
